<br>Calvine {113} refection issues solved by looking at the original photo in a new way. Prof Simon investigates.

I don't think it is a reflection. At 9:27 in the enlarged image, there are no features in the top half being mirrored in the bottom half, as you would have in a true reflection.
08:48 "a German Harrier" say what!? Are you aware the Germans never had Harriers?
Are you aware that the plane in the photo is not a harrier? It's a Gnat.
If it’s a reflection. Where are the ripples in the water? If that water is calm enough and is reflecting like glass why is the top of the “rock” different from the reflecting portion of the rock? It’s not a reflection, I refuse to believe that theory.
Damn… the dynamic duo!
What people are calling a plane is a bird.
Look at the proportions of the wings compared to the body, and notice the bend in the wings.
The bird is tilted, making its normally flat looking tail feathers look like a vertical stabilizer.
Interesting that Dr. David Clarke almost got to the site. He pointed to it. Be bold, go ahead and hike the rest of the way up and take some pictures.
rock "hypothesis" 🙂
I would love a high res image to look at, I been a professional photographer for 40 odd years and now teach photography at a Cambridge college, the photographic lead at this college is an ex RAF photographer he would also love to see a Very High Quality image be it digital or on paper, can anyone help?
@profsimon,
the rock theory is plausible but not provable no more than proving that the photo its self is real, because of this factor you should NOT support the rock theory but keep an unbiased stance.
The supposed plane looks more like a bird to me. A rock with jagged or rough edges in the water, and a bird flying by it. People have to put their alien hopium aside, and think clearly.
If this was a large spacecraft and a jet, they would have been flying dangerously low.
There is no evidence that aliens exist. ALL of the presented evidence from the ufo/alien community has been debunked. Ufology is a faith-based religion. Period.
What do the other photographs look like and what is in them,we are only seeing one
Is it legal to use fishing boats in a manmade water reservoir?
It's a rock.😎
Brilliant! It IS up side down. The "lighter" half of the rock is probably the reflected portion.
Looks like David Clarke got to the bottom of it and spoke to the people who took the photo and they said it flew off at high speed, Blows the rock story away lol.
what if the jet is not a jet ….but a boat with reflection
What about the fence at the bottom, if it's upside down?
What do you think of the Utah drone footage,,. Maybe you could give us your thoughts
The 'jet' looks to me like a guy fishing in a rowing boat too.
Plot twist: he was actually using sonar to locate a UFO?
That body of water is over 5 miles away. You are really grasping at straws here. Do you think the mod would classify this image for 82 years if it was a reflection. With all due respect this is by far the biggest load of nonsense I’ve ever heard. Invert the image and see what you get. I’ve altered the contrast and brightness with this image and you can clearly see it’s a shot of the sky with clouds and distant mountain tops. You clearly have a bias here and simply dismissing this as a reflection is ridiculous
