Metro didn’t set up any cameras that is not something the police would do so if anyone set up any type of surveillance system there is more to it and that could explain the blacked out SUV’s being there.

Is it a hoax?, how would they go about hoaxing this, lets take a look,
First off, it would have to be planned, that's a fact, every movie and play has a script, you could not improvise this.
Angel would be the instigator, he would have had to have looked up alien lore to gather the information he needed.
Then you would have to convince the entire family that they will not be prosecuted for making a false call to cops.
Even convincing the father to talk to cops on the call also.
Then have to convince the family to make the hoax happen at gone midnight.
Then have to rely on coincidence that somebody captured a meteor on film that night around the same time as the hoax story to make it more convincing.(just so happens a cop recorded the meteor)
Then gather the family and tell them to act as if they are scared of an intruder in the backyard and get mother to record it.
Straight up!, this is how you would have to hoax this, there is no other way to do it.
The things Angel didn't do is what people are suspicious about, Angel didn't record any of it, didn't take any pictures and no audio recordings, hell, the entire family didn't even try and communicate with these aliens, i mean, the first thing out of my mouth would be to shout in the aliens direction , "Hello"?, or , "get out of our yard" or, "did you crash, are you injured?", BUT, as i pointed out above, to hoax this you would have to do this 100% right on the first run.
Which is more believable?, the hoax theory or did 10 foot aliens crash land in this families backyard, both explanations are equally questionable

So the lawyer says the family can't tell who is a trespasser or not, so they might get shot. But we are supposed to believe the family can tell who aliens are???? If they are such a poor judge of what they are looking at why is this even in the news every week?
