You can meet those goals Pat!! I actually love finishing my quilts. The joy of a finished project makes me very happy 😊
Love your little trailer/video at the end!
"There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed." _Ray Goforth
I belong to a small 4 person sewing group. We all have that fat quarter book. We didn't know it until we remarked we needed to do more quilts from fat quarters. We all brought the same book to the meeting. Too funny. My daughter, who is a prolific sewist, has made all the quilts in that book. I've made a couple. The patterns are well written and easy to do.
Epson ET 4760. Love mine. It’ll print 1000 pages before needing liquid ink. Love it!!
I just picked up the Strawberry Day Kit. Yeah
Floating is a new term for me!
Wow, the cost of shipping is horrible. But I guess I will swallow it. I would love to get the pattern. I have to remind myself, it is for a good cause.
I did notice the trailer…so cool!!
Gosh Pat, I loved your Harrisonburg Pillow. I enjoyed the rest of your video's.
I wish I had your energy. It is all I can do to do the Quilt Museum quilt. Gotta play catch up on that. I am doing really bright colors so I do want to get it caught up just to see what it will look like. Thanks for being there to watch with my morning coffee. 🙂
love ya Pat…Thanks!
If binding is something you don’t enjoy; does your long armer offer that service? Some here where i live, offer it. But i don’t mind doing binding.
I live with a techie too. But he too is stubborn at times when i need something or something done. When he wants something, he has no problem getting it or fixing it for himself. I think the older they get the more stubborn they get.😂
Hi Pat! I got my newest edition of MSQ Block magazine Saturday & looked through it this morning. I was so happy to see there was an article/interview with you 😊😊 How fun!!
I like your navy background. Thanks for video
I love my Epson Eco Tank. The ET3750.. it doesn’t have cartridges.. such a cheaper way of buying ink. 💜🧵
I like your approach to building blocks and quilting in general. Your videos are inspirational to me. Thank you for all you do 😊👍💕
I think the only thing I got done in Feb was sashing for my project quilt and sashing on some blocks for a round robin. Still closing up a business and it's more time than I thought. Hoping to be semi retired soon.
Pat, beautiful pillow in the Harrisonburg pattern.
I purchased the pattern and decided to make our own family history quilt from special fabric stash. The background fabric is a soft yellow floral I purchased in 2010 for my then 14 year old granddaughter Emily. She wanted a summer dress to be made by our best town dressmaker, Haydee for her birthday. What a treat for Emily, going for fittings and the dress was beautiful. I bought several yards and I'm excited to use it for background of our Emily Harrisonburg Quilt! I made the first block using stash from a sundress I made for myself in 1990 and stash from a summer tote back 2015. I've sorted through my 30 shoe box stashes of florals and chosen 15 different color combinations for two blocks of each color. Loving our family Harrisonburg quilt adventure and so pleased to support the museum. Great job Wendy and Pat!
Good morning❤
Love the trailer!!!
Just ordered Porch Swing fat quarter bundle and the book … I’m hoping to be ready to go! I have 5 quilts that need binding..maybe I will try to get one done this week😅
93.1K!!!
I love your Harrisburg pillow!!!❤️❤️
You used to do UFO Friday, what happened to them? Maybe make them binding Friday and have a day set aside for just those?
How about yellow border on the pillow to draw out the yellow in the middle?
Tell Gregg, we replaced our printer 3 years ago. It came with 2 sets of cartridges and we have only just now started the 2nd set! 👌 There. Research done, LOL.
My end of the month planner goals are quite heavy. Lots of quilt wips get attention. Many are just chain piecing and will go fast but I have 1 more halloween placemat to bind and I'm done with them! That alone is a nice finish to the month of February.
I miss my work printer. I print in color at the library or local stationary staples store, may be an option for u. Just put my stuff on a stick and go. Maybe Greg needs to be doing that for u! It might convince him to get a printer. Yup men r too stubborn.
Pat ! You did complete a binding project! Did you forget the scissors and spool…it totally counts! 😘
Love the trailer at the end!! Happy music to start the day. Thanks for sharing with us!! We love you too.
Love the jingle!
I TOTALLY get that binding BLOCK…..I used to tell people I’d rather have my nails pulled out and salt poured on them than to have to BIND a quilt but I must say since I’ve mastered binding by machine it’s really not to so bad now…I’ve even started making the binding as I’m piecing the quilt so it’s done and ready by the time I’m finished with the quilt top…THEN it’s no excuse…well….Just me being lazy and oh…look…SQUIRRELS 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😂😂😂😂😂😂
I totally finished one project in February and gifted it to my daughter. Second goal was to complete Summer Camp. It had been on my design wall partially assembled for months. Now in my sewing room and almost all sewn together not including borders. Still a couple days in the month to complete but borders may have to roll to March. Told myself I couldn't start anything new until I finished at least some of my UFOs but…..we will see. So many great projects coming and going on right now.
I completely understand Mr. Greg's color printer research aversion… I'm also in the market for another one and it's just shocking how much they want for a color laser printer… sigh… Good luck, Greg!!
Pat, not quilt related :), but what Starbucks coffee do you order—looks like cream or milk added?
I do my bindings all by machine which is way faster and then I can get on to my next quilt. I definitely don’t do as many quilts as you do. I try to do mine as they come back from the longarm quilter so I don’t have a bunch of unfinished quilts which would drive me crazy. We all have our own way of doing things.
I don’t do good with making goals!!😂😂 I’m excited to do the March block a day!!❤️
Check out the Epson ET-4760 printer. At 2 years, we just added more ink. I don’t hold back on printing. I print everything in color. Did I mention….2 years!!! Mr. Gregg!!! This has been the best printer ever!
I did research fairly recently and got the HP Office Jet Pro and subscribed to the Instant Ink service. It works seamlessly with my Linksys router and all of our computers and devices. Just a suggestion to maybe move Greg away from the “oh no, do I have to?” State of being.
Living with a stubborn person; having a husband. I also have one that stopped research on a color printer and went with black and white. I save all the download patterns for 1 trip to Office Depot.
The Starlets quilt will be really cute scrappy. Goals …. I'm procrastinating on doing the scalloped binding the quilt for myself. I haven't worked with the scallop bindings.
I’m the weirdo who loves to bind😂
I have a color printer. But, my 75 yr old mother likes to go on FB and print inspirational quotes and pictures wasting the ink and then there isn't any ink for my needs. Seriously the ink will be gone in a week! I stopped buying ink and now the printer is out of service 🙄. I have to use my phone for the patterns up while sewing.
