It was taken by Shell Alpert, a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) seaman stationed at the USCG weather office in Salem, Massachusetts, on July 16. The USCG briefly investigated the case and issued a press release. Afterwards, the original negative was sent to Project Blue {95} for analysis. The official air force report stated, “The photo was taken with a 4/5 Busch Pressman Camera . . . loaded with 4/5 super XX cut film. The photographer observed several lights which seemed to be wavering. He observed the lights for 5 or 6 seconds and grabbed the camera which had been on a nearby table.”

This sighting was obviously independently validated by another witness in the area. Bluebook's mission was to ridicule and falsify explanations. Disinformation.

I just don't think people were into 'hoaxing' back then as much as they are now. The 'hoaxers' from the 40's and 50's didn't really have a platform to perpetuate their 'hoax' unlike they do now with YouTube and conspiracy forums.
This was the same year and month as the Washington DC UFO fly-over at the White House. Was that a hoax too? I doubt it. They wouldn't have scrambled fighter jets just for a 'hoax'.

yes really. a very surprising amount of information can be known about these visitors from the many people who have been in close contact and even inside the ships. plus some info from military insiders like the very interesting downing of ET ships by tracking megawatt radars that disrupt the propulsion fields. this is what caused the crashes of a couple of ships in the late 1940s over new mexico, including the roswell one which was not the only one.

UFO does indeed mean alien space craft and those who want to hold on to the unidentified of the name are people with irrational bias. To head that off I have started using the term alien space craft (ASC) to avoid that idiotic distraction.
And yes I know that they are ASC, the phenomenon is not as fleeting and rare as you pretend and it can easily be studied quite scientifically. They exhibit several signs of physics, like high voltage and microwave radiation.

The fact that the lights are not uniform is obvious,you would think.the angles would repeat from one light to another.Not a great photo, but similar to the objects down in D.C. the same week.
