I saw one just like it this past 4th of July and have video of it. Here in Texas
They are the Chinese Lanterns. They do flicker like that, because there is a flame burning. People seem very nice in the video, but I just can believe it made the news. I just watched this video just now because somebody posted the link to it on their Facebook page, comparing it to what they saw early hours this morning, which today is the 4th of July. They said they saw it close to a fireworks show. That's because they are lit mostly for the 4th of July. And, News Years, too. Just like the guy was mentioned in the video as to saying he had seen one back in January. I was puzzled when I had first seen one many years ago, also. However, they are so much more common these days, and so I was puzzled to see that this story even made the news. My kids and I have lit them in previous years, and they look just like in the video. They look like a flickering fireball, because that is what they are, basically. Fire under a very light weight paper balloon.

I just saw it in Sacramento CA too
Yep! Thats what i saw
It looks and acts exactly like a Chinese lantern. So, you know, probably…
I see a red orangish orb in 1999. It wasn’t the Sun at it was noon ET and the sun was above me. The orb was to the east and it was huge. I mean huge and then it just shot straight up. About 12 of us pulled over at the side of the road to see what it was. It was there for about 5 minutes. I’ve never seen anything move so fast.
I have a video of the same thing but ALOT closer. Went right over us. The height of trees. But the one we saw went completely transparent but could still see the outline of it. Have a video of it but never post it bc I was on FaceTime and my child’s mother screen recorded it bc my phone was about to die. The quality is horrible .
It just flew over Elnora Indiana. I thought it was a Chinese lantern but when it started flying across the sky I was just shocked. It was so low without any noise. It flew towards crane naval base. 3rd largest in the world. Please believe me I couldn't get it on phone cause I didn't have it on me. I estimate that it was going like 30 mph at first then sped up when it was over I69. Then it was gone like a red dot. While it flew over Elnora it was so low I could tell it was an orb type shape. Like it was glowing on fire but not. Plasma light or something like that. I would say it was not that high cause it flew over the water tower which is beside me. I really thought it was a lantern. I'm in awe at the rate of sped it took off at over 69. Which it 3 miles from my house.
saw the exact same one only the one I saw was booking it lol went across the entire sky in 5 sec didn't make a noise or leave a tail I couldn't take my eyes off of it
we are like monkeys to them if they really are out there
I just saw the same exact thing literally in the sky over Colorado Springs air force base. There were multiple fading in and out
I just saw 3 of these last night in Sacramento
I saw almost the same thing, but huge and only for about 2 seconds before it just faded to black by grand island Nebraska on 5/26/23
I've seen the same light over Lake Garda in Italy a few days ago.
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Logged May 19th 2023 @ 9:15pm where one orange light spotted northeast of midwest city stationary for ~10 seconds then fading upwards into the atmosphere.
Same thing in rural Vermont. It doesn’t look solid but more like some kind of unknown energy. Very active between 12:30 and 3:30 a.m.
Saw 4 of them on Motherdays night.. 5/14.. in Calera, AL.. went from east to west over my neighborhood.. got 2 decent videos less than a mintue long.
Reddish orange is a common color for UFOs.
SEEM THE SAME EXXXACCTT THING ON A PLANE TO HAWAII !! EXACT SAME THING EXCEPT IT WAS 3! They eventually went into two then one ! NEVERRR changed shape or size
The Pentagon needs to start answering all these UAP’s now since they started investigating them 😂
I’ve seen something like this in Southern California. A couple of friends and I were sitting outside relaxing next to a bond fire, and saw it trailing in the sky. It was odd and flickered in and out like a candle. It seemed to trickle a plasma from the center of the orb. I thought it was a Chinese lantern or a blimp/ weather ballon that caught fire, but it wasn’t a flame. My mind couldn’t make sense of what it was or why it was there.
Just seen something very much the same as this on my way in to work. 9:45pm CST. No noise, no blinking, very strange. Had my window down and almost stopped in the road. I pulled over and tried to get video footage, but when i did finally after maybe 1 minute of being in total shock with cars coming at me, and trying to keep looking directly above my truck, it was gone and i couldnt find it again. It somehow just disappeared.
All throughout the 90s when I was a kid in Hampshire county WV my entire family and I had seen so many of this same light in the sky on so many nights, absolutely wild, the trajectories radically changing is what really used to stun our minds
I just saw this and I’m in Tx as well.
I live in the UK and I seen this exact thing tonight in the sky which got me here, the one I seen was moving incredibly fast I’ve never seen anything move so quickly like the speed of light or something, no sound though then it just vanished
I live in the Scranton Pennsylvania area. Just had seen this the other night. Close to our local airport. I do have (2) pictures. Tried to get a video. Ironically. “Storage was full”. Had gotten home. Storage was no longer full. I’ve been watching the sky as I can. And there is quite a lot going on. Also I see the fast strobe looking lights that can connect to each other. And then disperse once connected to one. So (3) quick strobe looking lights. Flying towards each-other. And then connect as one. Then burst back into three lights again. Very interesting.
So you guy's don't Chinese lanterns in Texas? LMFAO
I've seen that in Ronan Montana. Then it looked like it started on fire it got really bright and disappeared
Yes I saw the same type of fire ball My wife spotted 3 of them traveling together in a side by side pattern. Then one went left and one went right and one went straight up and out of sight. This was around 2015 around January.. Ever since I time to time check Youtube for new sightings.
I seen the same exact thing this morning while it was still pitch black it flashed on and off several times I have video of it
Just saw 2 of these flying over Jacksonville FL on 2/15/23 around 9:30pm. Orange/Red Fireball/Orbs of Light… They were flying straight ahead, keeping the same altitude as each other, so, parallel to each other. One flickered out and then 15 seconds later the other one flickered out… It was really dark so I couldn't see anything after that. but they were definitely the same thing as this!
I saw something very much like this last night in West Richland, WA
There’s something out there waiting for us, and it ain’t no man.
Do not be afraid.. we are not alone.dreams aren't imaginary
Could be a military HAHO jump. They are often in the air 45 mins+ flying the chute to the designated LZ.
Fire balloon.
Saw something similar tonight
I have the same thing twice in East Central Indiana in the last 5 months.
I had seen this too in Michigan. It was a fire orb that spun in a circle that did two rotations then disappeared
I literally just saw the same exact thing and got it on video, it was moving in different directions starting slow then speeding up
Who am I, but new years eve 2022 going into 2023 I saw this exact light slowly moving across the sky until it was out of sight. Looked almost like a mini sun.
